On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the second edition of the final of the Best Science Poster competition for high school and middle school students in the Dijon Academy took place. This competition stems from a partnership established in 2024 by Khalida Mertès, a member of the academic working group for the promotion of science, and Alexandre Bouhelier, CNRS research director (ICB), with the support of Stéphane Guérin, head of the ICB Laboratory. This year, the project was co-led by Rémi Chassagnon, a research engineer at the Université Bourgogne Europe (ICB).
This final brought together students, professionals from the French National Education system, and researchers from the University of Burgundy Europe to view nine science posters, selected from 38 submissions. The success of this second edition demonstrates the growing interest of students in science and their commitment to this type of project.
During the day, the students presented their work to a jury of scientists, tasked with evaluating the relevance of the topics as well as the quality of the oral presentations.
