Computer and Electronic Development Center
Our hardware and software resources
The electronics department has a surface-mount component (SMD) placement and soldering platform for developing microcontroller-based electronic boards, FPGAs, and other components with packages requiring reflow soldering. It also has testing and inspection equipment.
Examples of equipment:
– Eurocircuit eC-stencil-mate screen printing machine
– C.I.F. Précitec manual placement station
– C.I.F. FT05 forced convection reflow oven
– Mantis stereoscopic microscope
Examples of software:
– Electronic CAD: Altium Designer software
– Mechanical CAD: Inventor software
– Equipment control and data acquisition: National Instruments software
Our achievements
– Libs laser gun: in-house development for Ivea Solutions. The laser electronics were industrialized and marketed under the name Easy Libs.
– Complete development of the electronics powering and controlling a portable, self-contained laser source.
– Datalogger: autonomous field data acquisition system. This system required an on-site mission for its installation at the mouth of the Crosette stream, on the Bossons Glacier (Chamonix Mont Blanc), located at an altitude of 1800m.
– Design and creation of the Notiphy user manual for Deaverde.
