Victoire Lescure receives the EIPHI prize for the excellence of her Master’s & Doctoral studies

At the EUR-EIPHI Orientation Day, held on October 9, 2025, Victoire Lescure was awarded the EIPHI Prize for her exemplary academic career, from her Master’s degree in Materials Design and Development (CDM) to her doctorate.

A former doctoral student at the ICB in Dijon, under a joint supervision agreement with the FEMTO-ST laboratory, Victoire defended her thesis in 2025, entitled: “Behavior of protonic ceramic electrochemical cells (PCEC).” Her research career has been distinguished by a strong international focus, with two research stays:

  • at the University of Genoa (Italy),
  • and at the Center for Applied Energy Research at the University of Kentucky (United States).

Before her doctorate, Victoire had already been awarded the Bernard Bolle Prize by the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials (SF2M), recognizing the quality of her Master’s work.

Also involved in the life of the laboratory, she served as secretary of the ATCPB (Association of PhD Students in Physical Chemistry of Burgundy) in 2024.

This new distinction recognizes a rich career marked by scientific rigor, international experience, and a commitment to the collective.

The ICB laboratory warmly congratulates Victoire Lescure on this well-deserved recognition!
