Innovating together for the research and industry of the future
The TITAN platform (computaTIonal inTelligence in design and mANufacturing) brings together researchers, engineers, technicians, and PhD students from the ICB at the Sévenans site, as well as institutional and industrial partners. It aims to conduct innovative and creative research projects carried out in close collaboration.
The ultimate goal of these projects, beyond contributing to advances in fundamental research, is to bring the results closer to industrial stakeholders in the relevant sectors.
TITAN / CO2M
One component of the TITAN platform, operated specifically by researchers from the CO2M department of the ICB, includes several platforms dedicated to fundamental research and technological applications:

– Vibrations and impact testing
– Active composites
– Innovative manufacturing processes
– Mechanical characterization
TITAN / PMDM
One section of the TITAN platform, operated by the LERMPS team of researchers from the PMDM department at ICB, features a technological platform focused on the following main areas:
– Additive manufacturing via micro-laser fusion
– Thermal spray deposition
– Powder processing
– Materials characterization
