Dr. Eng. Sabeur Msolli received his BSc in 2003 and his MSc in 2005 from National School of Engineering of Monastir (ENIM). Holder in fall 2011 of a PhD in mechanics and materials from INPT (Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France), he continued his research work on characterization and thermomechanical modeling of power electronics devices at LGP (Laboratoire Génie de Production) of ENIT (Ecole Nationale d’ingénieurs de Tarbes). From 2012 to 2013, he worked at UTT (Université de Technologie de Troyes) as CNRS agent (Centre National de Recherche Scientifique) on the thermomechanical modeling of forming process and damage of aluminium alloys and stainless steel. From 2013 to 2015, he continued developing his activities, in LEM3 (The Laboratory of study of microstructures, mechanics and material sciences) of the University of Lorraine where he was interested in homogenization methods applied to forming processes of stainless steel and focused on the prediction of phase transformation. After his two years work in LEM3, he moved to ENSAM ParisTech (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers) where he held a position of an assistant professor and developed plasticity, damage models and bifurcation methods for forming processes. At the end of 2016, he left France for a research professor position in South Korea at Dongguk University where he achieved a good research progress on thermomechanical modeling of manufacturing processes. Then, he moved to Singapour where he worked between 2018 and 2021, as a research scientist in IHPC/A*STAR (Institute of High-Performance Computing), on the modeling and simulation of surface enhancement processes (thermal and cold spray, SLM additive manufacturing, shot peening and laser shock peening). In 2021, he was designated as associate professor at UTBM (Université de Technologie de Belfort-MontBéliard) and affiliated to the Laboratory ICB-PMDM-LERMPS (Laboratoire d’études et de recherche des matériaux, procédés et surfaces-UMR 6303). His activities are devoted to the characterization and modeling of surface enhancement processes. Dr. Msolli published 40 articles in peer-review scientific journals and participated to more than 30 international conferences.
